The business aviation community cares about the environment and is resolved to contribute to reduction in the environment impacts attributed to aircraft operations. Although business aircraft generally produce relatively small amounts of noise and Green House Gas emissions, the industry understands its societal responsibility and the obligation to participate in global aviation activity targeted at mitigation of aviation environmental impact.
The business aviation community coordinates its environmental strategies and actions through an industry work group (Environmental Issues Work Group – EIWG). EIWG consist of operators and manufacturer representatives dedicated to continuously seeking solutions to environment related issues. The long term objectives of the industry are global sustainability.
